Cruising the Coast is an annual event held in October of each year on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast with venues held in the towns that stretch along the beach like strings of pearls - such as Ocean Springs, Biloxi, Gulfport, Long Beach, Pass Christian and Bay St. Louis. Thousands of classic cars, trucks and other vehicles attend each year. It's a week long party.
Rebecca Korpita is an artist living on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. Her artwork and illustrations reside in collections worldwide, appears on book covers, in magazines and are licensed on home goods and accessories. She is inspired by the coastal area in which she lives - the beach, the people, the lifestyle, the culture, old things and quirky things. Living near New Orleans, she loves the small colorful shotgun houses and captures them whenever she visits. Key West and all things tropical as well as women and their friendships and dogs and cats and their relationships with the people they own are some of her subjects.
