Artist's Description

Texas wild flower Black Eyed Susan Daisies dress up an old red barn building which was actually the dance hall in the now abandoned town of Winkleman TX. A former tourist attraction, it was billed as the smallest town in TX back in the 80s. It didn't survive, however and now the empty old houses and store buildings sit just outside of Brenham TX making the perfect little ghost town of what could have been. This is a digitally enhanced original photograph by Rebecca Korpita titled Dances with Daisies that has been given a painting effect..
